Blood Cancer :
Blood cancer is also called leukaemia. It will be called as the condition that affects the blood and bone marrow, thus causing the abnormal production of white blood cells in larger amounts. Blood cancer is a common type of cancer that affects the blood. There will be three types of blood cancers, like acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), chronic myeloblastic leukaemia (CML), and acute lymphocytic leukaemia (ALL). The symptoms that are observed in blood cancer will be weakness in the body, bleeding, extreme fatigue, pain in the bones and joints, bruising easily, swollen lymph nodes, swollen abdomen, poor immune system leading to infections more frequently, and pale skin. Blood cancer will be diagnosed based on tests such as complete blood count (CBC), biopsy, X-ray, MRI scan,bone marrow aspiration, CT scan, spinal tap or lumbar puncture. The treatment advised for the blood cancer will be through the transplantation of bone marrow, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radiation therapy, and transfusion of blood.
