ENT Specialist :
An otolaryngologist often referred to as an ENT specialist, is the one who diagnoses and treats conditions related to ear, nose, throat and neck. Some of the problems they handle are ear infections, hearing loss, sinusitis, tonsillitis, voice disorders, and allergies. They are also capable of managing problems associated with balance disorders, throat tumors, sleep disorders such as snoring, and even some types of head and neck cancers. An ENT specialist completes an MBBS degree and then does a masters degree in ENT. Initially they perform an physical examination of the ear, nose or tongue, check for the hearing or balance use the otoscope or laryngoscope or even nasolaryngoscope. ENT specialist may advice a medicine intake and also surgery if needed, such as the removal of tonsils, surgery on the sinuses, or any ear procedures. ENT specialists treat and improve function, and quality of patients and advice them on how to keep their ears, nose and throat clean so that more complications don't arise.
