Testis Cancer :
Testis cancer is the growth of malignant cells in the tissues of testicles. It can occur at any stage between the ages of 15 to 45. It mainly occurs due to changes in the cell's DNA. Types of testicular cancer are seminoma, which affects people 40 to 50 years of age, and nonseminoma, which affects people in their late teens and between 20 to 30 years. Symptoms include swelling of the scrotum, fluid buildup in the scrotum, the feeling of heaviness in the scrotum, a dull ache in the lower abdomen, and pain in the testicle. Factors that might increase the risk of testis cancer are 15 to 35 years of age, undescended testicles, race and ethnicity, genetic conditions like Klinefelter syndrome, and infertility. Diagnosis is made by physical exam, ultrasound, inguinal orchiectomy, and biopsy. Treatments that can be done are radiation therapy, chemotherapy, radical inguinal orchiectomy, and retroperitoneal lymph node dissection.
