Testis Cancer :
Testicular cancer is a cancer that occurs in the testis or testicles in the male reproductive system. The two types of testicular cancer will be seminoma and non-seminoma. The symptoms which are observed in testicular cancer will be swelling of the testicle, dull pain in the groin, fluid buildup in the scrotum, shrinking of the testicle, pain in the scrotum, and a feeling of heaviness in the scrotum. The diagnosis of testis cancer will be made based on the physical examination, ultrasound examination, inguinal orchiectomy, biopsy, serum tumor marker test, CT scan, X-rays, and MRI scan. After the diagnosis of testicular cancer, staging of the cancer will be done for the treatment plan. The treatment advised for testicular cancer will be through a surgical procedure to remove the cancerous testicle, known as radical inguinal orchiectomy, or retroperitoneal lymph node dissection. Then the treatment is continued with chemotherapy and radiation therapy for the testicular cancer.
