Nephropathy :
Nephropathy is a kidney disease that affects the functioning of the kidneys. In case of complete damage to the kidneys due to kidney failure or end-stage renal disease, it will be called nephropathy. The symptoms that can be seen in the case of nephropathy will be swelling, foamy urine, high blood pressure, and fatigue. In the advanced stages of nephropathy, the symptoms include shortness of breath, nausea & vomiting, loss of appetite, confusion, muscle cramps, and itching. The treatment advised for nephropathy will depend on the management of factors, which include managing blood sugar, changes in diet, controlling high blood pressure, and lifestyle modifications. The treatment for severe stages of nephropathy will be dialysis and transplantation of the kidney. The preventive measures in order to prevent the nephropathy will be cessation of smoking and alcohol, early detection and treatment, consuming a healthy diet, and regular physical activity. There are risk factors that increase the risk of nephropathy, including obesity, smoking, high blood cholesterol, high blood pressure, and uncontrolled diabetes.
