Malaria :
Malaria can be referred to as a parasitic disease that is caused by a parasite called Plasmodium. Malaria can occur due to a mosquito bite. When a mosquito bites, it will inject the parasite into the bloodstream. The symptoms that can be noticed in case of malaria can be chills with fever, sweating, fatigue, chest pain, headache, diarrhea, cough, breathing difficulty, nausea & vomiting, seizures. If malaria severity increases, it will lead to jaundice and anemia. The diagnosis of malaria can be made through blood tests to find the Plasmodium parasites. The treatment for malaria includes using medications called antimalarial drugs. The complications that can be seen in the case of malaria can be organ failure, even death, or coma. The prevention of malaria can be done by taking care to avoid mosquito bites by application of mosquito repellent creams, using mosquito nets for beds, putting screens for windows and doors, and wearing full coverage dresses. There are risk factors that increase the risk of malaria, such as pregnant women, children younger than 5 years, and weak immunity.
