Low Vision :

Low vision is typically referred to as significant vision loss that in most of the cases cannot be corrected with standard glasses, contact lenses, medications and surgery. Low vision can result from various underlying conditions including age related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, and other congenital disorders. Individual with low vision may experience difficulties with regular life activities such as reading, driving, watching TV, recognizing faces, and also navigating the environment. Some of the common symptoms of low vision are blurred vision, blind spots, and reduced field view.
