Kidney Diseases :
Kidney diseases occur when kidneys become damaged, which can affect the body's ability to clean the blood. Kidney diseases include acute kidney disease, chronic kidney disease, alcohol, and kidney disease. Acute kidney disease may occur when there is reduced blood flow to the kidneys, direct damage to the kidneys, and urine backed up in the kidneys. It may caused by traumatic injury, dehydration, sepsis, enlarged prostate, kidney stones, autoimmune diseases, and liver failure. Chronic kidney disease is caused by diabetes, high blood pressure, and long-term medications like NSAIDs. Alcohol and kidney disease may occur due to regular heavy drinking. Symptoms of kidney disease include fatigue, difficulty concentrating, trouble sleeping, poor appetite, muscle cramping, swollen feet and ankles, puffiness around the eyes, frequent urination, and dry and scaly skin. Severe symptoms include nausea, vomiting, fluid retention, changes in urine output, loss of appetite, decreased libido, anemia, hyperkalemia, and inflammation of the pericardium.
