Irritable Bowel Syndrome :
Irritable bowel syndrome is a group of symptoms that affect the digestive system and cause abdominal discomfort. Symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome are abdominal pain, abdominal cramps, urge to poop, excess gas and bloating, diarrhea, mucus in the poop, constipation, and feeling unable to empty the bowel after pooping. It may caused by dysmotility of the gastrointestinal tract, visceral hypersensitivity, gut bacteria, severe infections, food intolerance, childhood stress, stress, periods and certain foods like beans, onions, fruits, dairy foods, certain carbohydrate foods, and foods that contain sorbitol, mannitol or xylitol. Risk factors include intolerance to certain foods, severe digestive tract infection, history of abuse, diagnosis of anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, and chronic pelvic pain.
