Hypoglycemia :
Hypoglycemia is a condition where blood sugar level drops below the normal range. People with hypoglycemia experience symptoms like shaking, trembling, faster heart rate, extreme hunger, sweating, confusion, dizziness, anxiety, disorientation, loss of consciousness, and slurred speech. It can be caused by taking wrong dosage of insulin, or not taking meal after injecting the insulin, being more active, taking high doses of oral diabetic medications, skipping meals, and drinking alcohol without eating and also due to conditions like liver diseases, sepsis, and kidney failure. It can be diagnosed through testing blood sugar levels. Treatment plans include consuming sugar or fast acting carbs to raise the blood sugar or IVF infusions. Early or immediate consultation with a health care professional is recommended for early diagnosis to determine underlying cause and better treatment plans to avoid any fatal complications like cardiac arrhythmias, cardiac arrest, permanent brain damage, coma and even death.
