Flu :
Flu is a common name for influenza disease caused by influenza viruses. Flu is a contagious disease and spreads rapidly in children and adults, too. Kids up to five years, people with weakened immune systems, those who are suffering from chronic illnesses like asthma or diabetes and old age adults above 65 years of age are likely to have more problems when affected by the flu. The common symptoms of flu are sudden onset of fever, chills, headache, muscle aches, dizziness, loss of appetite, cough, sore throat, runny nose, nausea or vomiting, weakness, ear pain and diarrhea. It is important to stay hydrated, get plenty of sleep and take the prescribed medications when diagnosed with flu. Flu can develop into pneumonia or other serious infections like those of bacterial ones in some cases. Thus, it is important to avoid close contact with those suffering from flu.
