Bladder infection :
A bladder infection can be described as an infection of the urinary tract, or it can also be called cystitis. Bladder infection can mainly occur due to the passage of bacteria into the urethra and then into the urinary bladder. The most common bacteria that cause the infection is E.coli. The symptoms that can be noticed when there is a bladder infection can be pain during urination, frequent urination, cloudy urine, persistent urge to urinate, blood in urine, abdominal pain in the lower abdomen region, and pressure in the lower abdomen region. The diagnosis of bladder infection will be made through diagnostic tests, which include urinalysis, white blood cells, and the identification of the presence of bacteria and nitrites in the urine. Bladder infection can be treated through medications called antibiotics, and it can be prevented by drinking lots of fluids. If a bladder infection is not treated, it can cause a severe kidney infection. The preventive measures will be maintaining good hygiene, staying hydrated, and emptying the bladder completely.
