Premenstrual syndrome :
PMS or Premenstrual Syndrome is a term for symptoms indicating luteal phase of menstrual cycle that presents one to two weeks before menses. Symptoms are different among individuals but may include mood swings, irritability, anxiety, bloating, tenderness of the breast, headache, and fatigue. The actual cause of PMS cannot be established but it has been postulated to be brought about due to hormonal level changes, lifestyles, and genetics among different people. Treatment measures include changes in lifestyle such as diet and exercise, or stress management techniques, or medication in the form of pain relievers or hormonal therapies to prevent the onset or cut such symptoms.
