Dyspepsia :
Dyspepsia is indigestion in the stomach which results in pain or discomfort while digesting food. Dyspepsia is classified into two types such as acute dyspepsia, that occurs occasionally is not a problematic condition and functional dyspepsia. People with functional dyspepsia experience chronic indigestion and suffer with stomach ache frequently after eating. The complains associated with dyspepsia include pain in the upper belly region, feeling full after a long time after eating or very soon than expected making it hard to consume even smaller amounts of food and inflammation or burning sensation in the upper stomach or chest area. The other significant signs of dyspepsia include bloating, nausea, belching and gas formation. Dyspepsia occurs mainly due to peptic ulcers, GERD and gastritis. To manage dyspepsia at home, it is important to adjust the eating habits, drink sufficient amounts of water, review the medications and use antacids. Dyspepsia management also involves using specific medications, lifestyle changes, eating habit changes, probiotics and complementary therapies like stress management.
