Warts in Adults :
Warts in adults refers to non cancerous growths that appear on the mucosa and skin covering the inside of mouth. Different strains of Human Papillomavirus (HPV) cause warts in adults by entering the skin through small cuts and then forming a wart. Warts in adults are categorized into various types as common warts or verruca vulgaris, mosaic warts, plantar warts, flat warts, filiform warts, butcher's warts, focal epithelial hyperplasia or heck's disease and genital warts. These various types of warts in adults present differently and these warts usually look dome shaped, smooth, rough, flat, smooth, bumpy or cauliflower like, skin colored, brown, thread or finger like, gray or black and like they have brownish dots or small black. The treatment plan to manage warts in adults involves over the counter products, medical freezing, medical topical treatments, surgical removal, immunotherapy, laser treatment, and electrosurgery.
