Wilms Tumor :
Signs and symptoms include abdominal swelling or mass, pain in the abdomen or back, blood in urine, fever, weight loss, loss of appetite, fatigue etc. which may lead to abnormal kidney development, tumor growth, potentially spreading to other organs, kidney function impairment and increased risk of metastasis (spread to other parts of the body) etc,. Patients with wilms tumor usually present with no symptoms but an abdominal mass which is further investigated with imaging (ultrasound, CT, MRI) , blood tests, medical history and renal biopsy . The cancer is then staged and treated which includes nephrectomy ie,., removal of the kidney, chemotherapy and radiation therapy is also used in some cases to target the remaining cancer cells and other supportive care
