Uveitis :

Uveitis is the inflammation of the uvea , which is refered to the middle layer of the eye. The most common type is an inflammation of the iris called Iritis. Uveitis can occur as a result of various autoimmune disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis. Additionally it can also be caused by infections such as herpes simplex virus, toxoplasmosis or trauma.
