Substance Abuse
Substance abuse refers to psychological and physical dependence on a drug. It typically means a pattern of using a substance (i.e any drug) that causes significant problems or distress.
Some of the examples of the substances frequently abused my most of the individuals are Alcohol, Marijuana, prescription medications such as pain, anxiety and several others. It becomes difficult to identity an individual with substance abuse disorder some of the possible signs one can look for are changes in behaviour, neglected appearance, physical health issues, and antisocial behaviour. Individuals with this disorder should seek professional help before the condition goes out of control causing further serious complications.
