Lasik :
LASIK will be called Laser-assisted in situ keratomileusis surgery. It will be indicated as an alternative to the usage of eyeglasses or contact lenses. LASIK surgery will be mainly done in cases of vision problems like astigmatism, nearsightedness, and farsightedness. During the procedure of LASIK surgery, the surgeon removes the flap formed on the eye to reshape the cornea, and then folds the flap back with a programmed laser; the cornea's shape will be changed, and a small amount of corneal tissue is removed. The side effects that are seen with LASIK surgery will be halos or glare, dry eyes, corneal ectasia, double vision, overcorrections, astigmatism, flap problems, undercorrections, vision loss, and regression. LASIK surgery is not suggested in some cases, like family history of keratoconus, severe nearsightedness, eye diseases causing the cornea to bulge, age-related eye changes, large pupils, and thin corneas. LASIK surgery will be done for the improvement of vision and also for the correction of refractive errors.
