Gallbladder Cancer :

Gallbladder is a small organ situated below the liver, cancer or growth of malignant cells arising from this organ is called as gall bladder cancer. Gall bladder cancer is a rare type of cancer characterised by symptoms such as sharp steady pain in the upper right of the abdomen, fatigue, unexplained weight loss, loss of appetite, bilious vomit, and jaundice.

Medical experts suggest that gall bladder cancer identified at early stage has an increased chances for cure, while the treatment involves a combination of surgery called as Cholecystectomy followed by radiation therapy and chemo therapy. Elder people, individuals with a history of gall stones, and and other gall bladder conditions such as polyps, infection and women are more vulnerable to experience a gall bladder cancer.
