Far Sightedness :
Far sightedness will be referred to as hyperopia. Far sightedness is an eye problem in which there is blurring of closer vision. In far sightedness, an individual will be able to see objects clearly that are far, but cannot see objects that are nearer. Farsightedness is hereditary. The hyperopia will occur due to decreased axial length (length from front to back), and the cornea will be flat. The symptoms observed in farsightedness include blurred vision when looking at objects that are near the face, double vision, eye fatigue at night, squints when reading, eye strain, and dull pain in the eye, making it difficult to read. Children with farsightedness will rub their eyes frequently and will become disinterested in reading. The diagnosis for farsightedness will be done with eye examination, and it is done by an ophthalmologist. Far sightedness will be managed by the usage of eyeglasses, contact lenses, and surgical management will be indicated to correct the problem.
