Dysuria :
Dysuria is a medical condition referred to as painful or uncomfortable urination. Urinary tract infections are one of the leading cause of Dysuria, while it can also be caused due to conditions such as prostatitis, urethritis, cystitis, epidiymitis, pelvic inflammatory diseases, obstructive uropathy and kidney stone. Treatment of Dysuria includes medications, and certain preventive measures such as maintaining proper hygiene (to prevent the infection).
One can expect a rapid recovery from the condition in cases where Dysuria is not linked to an underlying cause, on the contrary Dysuria associated to a serious medical condition requires prompt medical intervention and longer recovery period.
