Diabetic Nephropathy :
Diabetic kidney disease also known as diabetic nephropathy is a chronic kidney disease associated with diabetes. Not all patients with diabetes go on to develop diabetic nephropathy, while the factors that increase the risk of diabetic nephropathy are poor control of blood glucose, uncontrolled high blood pressure, chronic smoking despite being diabetic and Type 1 diabetes with onset before 20 years. As this condition is said to be the primary cause for chronic kidney disease or end stage renal disease, treatment mainly involves to slow the progression of kidney damage and control related complications in order to prevent other associated disorders
