Club foot :
Club foot is a congenital defect ( birth defect) affecting the muscles and bones in individuals leading to inward and downward rotation of one or both the feet, If left untreated this condition can limit the mobility in affected individual by making it difficult and painful to walk. Approximately 1 in every 1,000 live births involves clubfoot, making it one of the more frequent congenital foot deformities. The actual cause this condition is not known ,but children with clubfoot are usually otherwise healthy.This condition is treated with various approaches including the well known method called as Ponseti method involves stretching and casting the leg to correct the foot's position and also in severe cases, surgical correction may be employed.
