Fever :

Fever, medically termed as Pyrexia is a temporary rise in the body's temperature as result to an infection or illness. A fever may be caused by various reasons ranging from non serious to life threatening including bacterial and viral infections such as influenza, malaria,urinary tract infections, appendicitis, COVID - 19 and non infectious disorders such as meningitis,connective tissue diseases, deep vein thrombosis etc.

Although treatment to reduce fever is not necessary, easing the pain and discomfort through medications and addressing any underlying medical condition is necessary.
