Vulvar cancer :
Vulval cancer is a rare type of cancer affecting the vulva, which is the outer portion of the female genitals. This condition often affects the labia majora marked with symptoms including itching, burning sensation, bleeding, skin changes, sore lumps, pain in the pelvis, pain during urinating and inter course. Although there is no clear cause for this condition, genetic factors and HPV to an extent contribute to its occurance. Risk factors that can increase a person's chance of developing vulval cancer are age (above 50 years), HIV infection, lichen sclerosus, other genital cancers and chronic smoking. Having one or more than one of the risk factor does not mean you will develop vulvar cancer, but it generally makes vulval cancer more likely to develop. It is crucial to look for early signs and reach out for proper medical help for accurate diagnosis and effective management of the condition
