Vaginal Infection :
Signs and symptoms of vaginal infection include abnormal vaginal discharge of color, consistency or odor, itching, burning, redness of the vagina or vulva, pain or discomfort during sexual intercourse, abnormal bleeding or spotting, foul odor, increased urination and burning during urination etc. Diagnosis is amde by comprehensive medical history, vaginal pH testing, vaginal cultures or microscopy, STI testing (if necessary). Management includes antibiotics (for BV or STIs), antifungal medications (for yeast infections), medications to treat other parasitic infections(for trichomoniasis), vaginal creams or suppositories, good hygiene practices, avoiding irritants, avoidance of wearing tight clothes, regular STI testing and partner treatment if necessary
