Vaginal Discharge :
Vaginal discharge is the fluid that comes out of vagina which consists of epithelial cells, bacteria and secretions of vagina and cervix. It is a normal physiological process and does not need any treatment.
When the discharge have changed in colour, odour, quantity and consistency then it is a symptom to be worried. Infections such as bacterial, fungal and parasitic can effect the normal flora of the vagina. They gives rise to symptoms such as pain and itching at vagina, pain while urinating, foul smelling vaginal discharge, etc. Consult a Gynaecologist for treatment if you experience above symptoms.
