Vaginal Dryness :
Vaginal dryness is a symptom of health conditions. Usually, the lining of the vagina is always lubricated with the secretions of fluids which keeps elastic and thick. When the tissues present in the vagina become dry and thin, it causes pain during normal activities such as exercising, sitting, and during urination. Also leads to pain during sexual intercourse. The common causes that lead to vaginal dryness are the usage of contraceptive pills, childbirth, breastfeeding, diabetes, decreased levels of estrogen in menopause, chemotherapy when ovaries are removed (oophorectomy), an autoimmune disorder called Sjogren's syndrome which causes dryness all over the body, using scented soaps and washes to clean vagina. Along with dryness, there will be itching, discomfort, soreness in the vulva, bleeding after sexual intercourse, and frequent. Vaginal dryness is treated with medications using vaginal lubricants.
