Tubectomy :

Tubectomy also called as tubal ligation is a permanent contraceptive method in women. It is a sterilization procedure which involves blocking or sealing of the female's fallopian tubules. Some of the common indications of Tubectomy are family planing,personal choice, permanent birth control preference,completion of child bearing, Risk of pregnancy complications, contraindications to other birth control measures,and Risks of pregnancy complications.

Tubectomy is safe and effective procedure that lasts for 20 to 30 minutes usually carried out as an out patient procedure under local or general anesthesia.
