The treatment plan to manage plantar fasciitis includes over the counter NSAIDs, rest, icing the foot, wearing supportive shoes, orthotics or shoe inserts, immobilization, stretching and massaging, corticosteroids, platelet rich plasma (PRP), extracorporeal pulse activation technology (EPAT), percutaneous needle tenotomy and plantar fasciitis surgery options like gastrocnemius recession and plantar fascial release.
