Kidney Cancer :
The cancer that affects the kidney is called kidney cancer. There will be many types of cancers that are affecting the kidney, like transitional cell cancer, renal cell carcinoma, Wilms tumour, and renal sarcoma. The symptoms which are seen in kidney cancer will be blood in urine, tiredness, a lump in the kidney, weight loss, bone pain, loss of appetite, flank pain, high blood pressure, high calcium, anaemia, and low-grade fever. The diagnosis of kidney cancer will be done based on the blood tests, urinalysis, CT scan, ultrasound examination, MRI scan, and renal mass biopsy. After the diagnosis of cancer is done, staging of cancer is done based on the size and location of the tumour, and the spread of the cancer to develop the treatment plan. The treatment advised for treating the kidney cancer will be surgical treatments like partial nephrectomy and radical nephrectomy, ablation treatments such as radiofrequency ablation and cryoablation, targeted drug therapy, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, and immunotherapy.
