Hodgkin's lymphoma is a type of blood cancer affecting the lymphatic system, which consists of white blood cells. The lymphatic system is the body's immune system and disease-fighting system. Hodgkin's lymphoma begins in the lymph nodes of the neck and chest region. There are two main types of Hodgkin's lymphoma such as Classic Hodgkin lymphoma and nodular lymphocyte-predominant Hodgkin lymphoma. The symptoms of Hodgkin's lymphoma are fatigue, swellings in the underarm, neck, and groin regions, night sweats, fever, which is unexplained, itching of the skin, swelling of the abdomen, unexplained weight loss, and chest pain. The diagnosis of Hodgkin's lymphoma begins with a physical examination, blood tests, and biopsy. Also, some imaging tests are recommended such as X-ray, MRI scan, CT scan, positron emission tomography scans (PET), etc. There are 1 to 4 stages in this Hodgkin's lymphoma. The treatment of Hodgkin's lymphoma includes chemotherapy and radiotherapy, also bone marrow transplant, immune therapy, and targeted therapy.
