Endometrial Polyp :
Endometrial Polyp also called as uterine polyps are described as the over growths or masses of the the inner lining of the uterus that expands into the uterus. Holding no definitive cause, this condition is associated with certain risk factors such as obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, hormonal issues and a history of cervical polyps.
Patients with endometrial polyps might not always show symptoms, however some of the common symptoms are infertility, vaginal bleeding, bleeding between periods, frequent unpredictable periods, and increased bleeding during periods. For asymptomatic and low-risk patients, endometrial polyps can be managed conservatively with observation, although in critical cases surgical intervention is the treatment of choice.
