Cystitis :
Cystitis is a term used to describe the inflammation of the urinary bladder. Cystitis is a kidney disease that is caused by a urinary tract infection. It is most commonly seen in women. This cystitis is a bacterial infection and occurs when bacteria travel into the urethra and bladder instead of flushing out. The possible symptoms of cystitis can be pain during urination, burning sensation during urination, constant urge to urinate, foul-smelling urine, presence of blood in urine, discomfort in the pelvis region, low fever, and pressure at the naval region in the abdomen. The diagnostic tests that are advised to diagnose cystitis are urinalysis, an X-ray, and an ultrasound scan. The treatment options to treat cystitis are medications to relieve pain, consumption of lot of fluids, maintaining personal hygiene, cleaning or wiping front to back after urination, and other options are having a healthy lifestyle, and physical therapy.
