Color blindness is the inability of the individual to recognize primary colors like red or green, sometimes blue. It is medically referred to as color vision deficiency. It is an inherited disorder from the family in several cases, but can also be acquired due to certain eye diseases in adult life or trauma to the retinal light receptors.
