Back Pain :
Back pain is a symptom of many underlying conditions observed in the body. There are many types of back pain, which include lower back pain, upper back pain, and middle back pain. There are many types, which include acute back pain and chronic back pain. The back pain will be caused due to many reasons, such as sprains or strains, which will be the injuries to muscles or tendons, and then to the ligaments respectively. There might be other causes of back pain, such as referred back pain, tumours, infections, and structural problems of the back. There are other conditions, such as injuries, tumours that can lead to back pain, and infections. Back pain will be observed as aching pain, burning, shooting pain, stabbing pain, sharp pain, throbbing pain, or dull pain. The back pain can be detected based on the physical examination, MRI scan, X-rays, blood tests, electromyography (EMG), and CT scan. Back pain will be treated through therapies like physiotherapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), medications, and surgical treatment, which will include spine surgery.
