Alzheimers disease :
Alzheimers disease is a neurodegenerative disease that affects the brain. It will be a major cause of dementia. Alzheimer's disease occurs due to the abnormal buildup of proteins in the brain. It is a hereditary disease. The symptoms that will occur in the case of alzheimers disease will be weakening of memory, leading to forgetting names and faces, speaking mismatched language, and having a hard time analysing the distance between objects. Reasoning involves being unable to make plans and decisions, and personality and behaviour involve mood swings and hallucinations. The diagnosis of alzheimers disease will be done through physical examination, CT scan, blood tests, PET scan, MRI brain, urine tests, cognitive tests, and psychiatric evaluation. There will be no permanent cure for Alzheimer's disease. The management of Alzheimer's disease will be done by treating the symptoms, thereby maintaining mental health. The treatment for Alzheimers disease through medications should create a safer and more supportive environment to cope with Alzheimers disease.
