Paediatric Dermatologist :
A paediatric dermatologist can be a specialist doctor who deals with the diagnosis and management of skin diseases in children. They are well-trained in diagnosing and treating hair and nail problems occurring in children. A paediatric dermatologist is qualified with a graduation in MBBS, followed by post-graduation, MD in DVL (dermatology, venereology, leprosy). Paediatric Dermatologists will treat many conditions in newborns, infants, children, and adolescents. The conditions that can be managed by a paediatric dermatologist will be skin rashes, diaper rash, birthmarks, warts, allergies, bacterial infections, acne, psoriasis, hives, vitiligo, and fungal infections. Skin diseases in children will be treated through topical ointments, phototherapy, medications, surgical procedures, allergy testing, and laser therapy. When there are symptoms such as rashes, redness of skin, itching of skin, moles, skin infections, lesions, warts, acne, fungal infections, unusual birthmarks, or hair loss.
