Warts in Adults :
Warts are described as non cancerous growths that form on the mucosa and skin covering the inside of mouth. Warts in adults are caused by different strains of Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) which enters the skin through small cuts and eventually form a wart. These warts are classified into various types such as common warts or verruca vulgaris, plantar warts, flat warts, mosaic warts, filiform warts, focal epithelial hyperplasia or heck's disease, butcher's warts and genital warts. The symptoms of warts in adult vary depending on its type and these warts usually look dome shaped, rough, smooth, flat, smooth, skin colored, brown, thread or finger like, bumpy or cauliflower like, gray or black and brownish dots. The management of warts in adults involves various methods such as taking over the counter products, medical topical treatments, medical freezing, surgical removal, laser treatment, electrosurgery and immunotherapy.
