Squint :
Squint is commonly referred to as strabismus . It is the faulty positioning of one eye relative to the other. One eye always lies straight but in squint the other eye turns inward, outward, upwards, or even downwards. Sometimes the squint can be constant while in other cases it could be intermittent. The causative factors include genetics, muscular imbalances, neurological conditions, or vision problems. Squinting is characterized by double vision and an inability to focus or have a clear view with both eyes together. Squnit is diagnosed through research in eye misalignment, vision acuity and depth of perception upon looking through the eyes. The treatment varies with seriousness and cause for squinting. It includes glasses, patching to stress out the weaker eye and just plain attention and therapy with or even surgical correction to reform its proper positioning.
