Renal Failure :
Renal failure is known as kidney failure. Renal failure can be caused by poor functioning of the kidneys in order to filter the waste products and toxins from the blood. There are various types of renal failures, which include acute kidney failure, end-stage kidney disease, and chronic kidney disease. The other causes of renal failure will be high blood pressure, autoimmune diseases like polycystic kidney disease, lupus, other genetic diseases, and diabetes. There are certain medications that will cause acute kidney failure, and there are infections that can cause renal failure. The symptoms that will be seen in case of renal failure will be swelling due to retention of fluid, weakness, itching of skin, nausea & vomiting, high blood pressure, changes in mental condition, and shortness of breath. The diagnosis of renal failure will be done through investigative tests like blood tests, CT scan, urine tests, ultrasound scan, and biopsy of the kidney. The treatment for renal failure will be with the underlying causes, like high blood pressure, diabetes, and treatment methods will be kidney transplant or dialysis.
