Pleural Effusion :
Pleural effusion is described as a lung condition characterized by the accumulation of fluid in the lungs. Pleural effusion is categorized into two types, such as transudative pleural effusion and exudative pleural effusion. Transudative pleural effusion occurs due liver cirrhosis, heart failure, and nephrotic syndrome, and the accumulated fluid here is protein-poor and watery. The collected fluid in exudative pleural effusion is protein rich and occurs because of conditions such as tuberculosis, bleeding from chest trauma, rare chest, chylothorax and abdominal infections, autoimmune disease, exposure to asbestos, pancreatitis, meig's syndrome, esophageal rupture, ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome, radiation therapy and abdominal surgery. The significant signs of pleural effusion are chest pain that worsens with coughing or deep breathing, orthopnea, which causes the inability to breathe easily unless you are standing up straight or sitting up straight and dyspnea or shortness of breath.
