Nose bleed :
Nose bleed, also known as epistaxis, occurs when you lose blood from tissue that lines the inside of the nose. Nose bleed is divided into two types, such as anterior nosebleed, in which nose bleed starts in front of the nose on the lower part of the septum and posterior nose bleed, which occurs deep inside the nose. The main causes of nose bleed include dry air, allergies, presence of any objects in the nose, injuries of the nose, sinus infections, upper respiratory tract infections, use of antihistamines recreational drugs, blood thinners, high altitudes and deviated nasal septum. The symptoms of a posterior nosebleed would be bleeding from the nose and bad taste in the back of the throat. Nose bleeding can be treated by nasal packing, cauterization, advising medications, removing foreign bodies, and surgery like septoplasty and ligation.
