Nephrotic Syndrome :
Nephrotic syndrome is a kidney disease that can cause a significant loss of protein in the urine. The nephrotic syndrome can be caused by many causes, such as damage to the glomeruli in the kidney, infections, autoimmune diseases, inherited disorders, and certain medications. The symptoms that will be observed in nephrotic syndrome will be swollen feet and ankles, fatigue, lack of appetite, and weight gain. The diagnosis of nephrotic syndrome will be done based on the investigation tests, such as blood tests to detect albumin levels, urine tests, and a biopsy of the kidney. The management for nephrotic syndrome will be based on the cause of the disease. The treatment advised for nephrotic syndrome will be with medications such as diuretics, blood thinners, blood pressure medications, medications that can reduce cholesterol levels, and immunosuppressants. The measures that should be taken in case of nephrotic syndrome will be drinking less amount of fluids, eating only lean protein in the diet, a low salt diet, and less fatty food.
