Liver Cancer :
Liver cancer is the most dangerous and life-threatening cancer that affects the liver cells. There are different types of liver cancers, which include intrahepatic cancer, hepatic angiosarcoma, and hepatocellular carcinoma. The symptoms which will be observed in liver cancer will be discoloration of urine into a dark color, persistent fever, pale colored stools, itching of the skin, bruising easily, fatigue, unexplained weight loss, discoloration of the skin and sclera of the eyes into a yellow color, loss of appetite, pain in the upper abdomen, nausea & vomiting. Liver cancer will be detected depending on the physical examination, and diagnostic tests such as blood tests, angiogram, CT scan, ultrasound of the liver, MRI scan, biopsy, and ERCP test. The management of liver cancer will include chemoembolization, radiation therapy, radioembolization, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy. Surgical treatments will be done in case of liver cancer, such as transplantation of the liver, ablation, and hepatectomy.
