Imperforate Anus :
The imperforate anus will be called as a condition in which there is no opening in the anus, which causes blockage when passing stools. The cause of the imperforate anus will be unknown, and it is suspected that it is due to opening into other structures, thus the rectum will not connect with the colon. It will also be due to the narrowing of the anus, or there will be no anus at all. An imperforate anus will be caused by abnormal fetal development. There will be problems that will be seen with this condition, including an anal opening that is closer to the vaginal opening in girl babies, no opening present at the anus, and the abdomen will be swollen, and babies will not pass their first stool within 24 to 48 hours of birth. An imperforate anus will be managed through surgical treatment. Surgical treatment is of three types based upon the severity, like temporary colostomy, pull-through surgery, enlargement of the opening in the anus, anoplasty involves moving the rectum to its original place and thus creates an opening at the anus, and a surgical opening will be created in the colon for passing stools.
