Eye Test :
An eye test is a standard diagnostic test to examine an individual's vision. There are several types of eye tests, including decreased vision, refraction test, pupil response test, visual acuity test, dilated eye examination, color vision test, optical coherence tomography, visual field test, tonometer test, and electroretinography. Eye tests are suggested to be done regularly as they will help diagnose any issues that are seen in the eyes, such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, macular degeneration, cataracts, and glaucoma. This eye test will also help in detecting other health problems that can lead to vision problems, such as high blood pressure, diabetes, and brain tumors. Eye tests are advised for every 1-2 years in adults, and in children, they should be from the age of 2 to 3 years. Eye tests are performed by ophthalmologists and optometrists.
