Eye Test :
A very simple eye test is done to check your vision and eyes in general. Usually carried out by an eye specialist , an eye test helps the ophthalmologist to diagnose a problem with near-sightedness, farsightedness, or possibly even astigmatism as well as other possible defects that may be caused due to glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration or many others. Eye test is measured at a distance of 20 feet and the patient is subjected to read the letters displayed on a board.
During an eye test, the muscles inside your eye are observed and your muscle functionality is checked. In addition, the examination of your retina and your optic nerve takes place during the eye test.Reading letters on a chart and checking peripheral vision often characterize an eye test, sometimes by using eye drops so that the pupils are dilated in order to view the eye more clearly internally. Regular eye tests for one to two years will help detect early problems which can then be treated early, and good visions and good eye health are maintained.
