Deviated Nasal Septum :
Any condition that prevents liver from performing its normal duties will eventually leads to liver failure. Multiple causes attribute to liver failure such as toxins, poison, chronic drug abuse, alcohol consumption and chronic inflammation. In early stages, Patients usually present with abdominal pain in the right upper quadrant, fatigue, malaise, nausea, vomit, loss of appetite, loss of weight. Later they present with jaundice, pruritus [itchy skin], hepatic encephalopathy. Patients find it difficult to digest fats and hence it is present in stools making their appearance light colored. Unexplained weight loss, coagulopathy, fat deposits in eyelids under skin are usually present in chronic cases. In severe cases of liver failure ascites, edema, hematemesis can be seen. A Gastroenterologist might advise for blood test, MRI and liver biopsy for further diagnosis and treatment.
