CT Coronary Angiogram is a non-invasive Radiographic technique used for the visualization of heart and blood vessels. They help in diagnosing different cardio-vascular diseases like Coronary artery Disease, Carotid artery disease, Coarctation of aorta, narrowing of blood vessels, Peripheral vascular disease. The procedure uses high power X-ray rays which is not suitable for pregnant women as it can harm fetus and frequent exposure should be avoided even in healthy individuals. They inject a contrast dye into the blood vessels for the better visualization. It uses a powerful X-ray machine and does not require any recovery time.
