Complete heart block CHB :
The four chambers in the heart pump blood by coordinating their contractions. This coordination is facilitated via electrical signals. A complete heart block refers to a condition where these signals do not reach the lower chambers of the heart. It is a serious condition that requires immediate medical attention. Besides a heart attack, a complete heart block can be caused by problems in the heart's valves, weakening of the heart's muscles, and scarring of heart tissue. The condition may cause no symptoms, slow development of symptoms, or sudden development of symptoms. The condition causes fatigue, breathlessness, chest pain, dizziness, and fainting. It can be diagnosed with an EKG. In the majority of cases, a complete heart block can only be resolved by surgically implanting a pacemaker.
